"One of the best features of iFROI.com is its independence.

MountainView Software Announces ClaimZone
MountainView Software Corporation
Steve Schmutz, 888-533-1122 ext. 303
MountainView Software announced today that it will release a
new claims management software package called ClaimZone®. ClaimZone
will be targeted to Self-Administered companies, Third Party
Administrators, and Insurance Companies. ClaimZone will initially
be developed for workers' compensation claims management. General
Liability, Disability, and Auto Liability will be added in future
releases.
MountainView Software already has a workers' compensation claims
reporting package, called ClaimZone First Report®. ClaimZone First Report
focuses on the First Report of Injury and the OSHA 200 reporting.
ClaimZone will add a strong management and administrative component
to compliment the reporting features which will be "borrowed"
from ClaimZone First Report.
"We have a lot of customers ask us for administration features,"
said Steve Schmutz, President of MountainView Software Corporation.
"[ClaimZone First Report] doesn't go far enough for some of our customers.
In an effort to meet that demand we are announcing the development
of ClaimZone."
"We made the decision to develop ClaimZone as a separate product
because we didn't want to make [ClaimZone First Report] too big and
complicated. [ClaimZone First Report] fills a very good niche, and
we didn't want to ruin that. With ClaimZone we'll be able to
fill a different need without hurting our current users," said
Terry Preece, Senior Vice President of MountainView Software.
ClaimZone will offer strong administrative features such as
Notes, Diaries, Contact Files, Full Financial tracking, Check
Writing, Complete IAIABC EDI capabilities, and much more. ClaimZone
will have a Thin Client module which will allow the entry and
lookup of claims information from the Internet using a browser.
ClaimZone will also include the reporting features from ClaimZone First
Report such as the ability to print the First Report of Injury
for all 50 states, and produce the OSHA 200 federal form. MountainView
Software has announced a 2nd Quarter 2000 release date for ClaimZone
1.0.
